Rub N Tug Live from Sunday Best

It rained. And then it didn't rain. And then it did, and then it didn't, and then it did a lot. And so we were glad in the end that we moved the party over to The Bell House for the day. Doug and Justin played Miss Pac Man while eating beer cheese to start off the day, letting More Gregory by Gregory Isaacs set the tone for the first hour or so. The room filled up, people got their Sunday Best chill on in the couches by the window (which let in plenty of sunshine despite the weather), and by 6pm when Justin took over the decks from Doug, there was a dancefloor going. By the time Rub N Tug got on, things were bumping. It was business as usual with them--lots of great music that we'd never heard before. All in all a great day. It's good to know that even in the rain, the vibe remains strong.

Here's the set from Rub N Tug: Rub N Tug Live at Sunday Best on June 21, 2009.

The track at minute 20 is an edit of Sister Sledge's 'Lost In Music' by The Revenge. Thanks for listening!

And the 'Habla Con La Luna' song is 'La Mezcla" by Michel Cleis. It's on Cadenza.
